/ About the Summit
In a rapidly changing world, youth are reshaping how we engage in global dialogue. The inaugural Global InnoYouth Summit, launched by the Department for Youth of the Taipei City Government in 2025, marks a bold new chapter in international collaboration and innovation.
The summit brings together young changemakers from Taipei and its partner cities to build a global engine for innovation—powered by creativity, fueled by cities, and driven by action.
The summit explores four key topics:
-
Global Leadership
-
Innovation Catalyst
-
Civic Engagement
-
Tech & Well-being
Through keynote speeches, dialogue sessions, workshops, and immersive visits, we invite youth aged 15–45 with bold ideas and an action mindset to co-design the future of cities.
This is an invitation for Taipei to reach out—and for the world to come in. It’s a platform where youth voices lead the conversation.

/ FAQ
1. Who is eligible to apply?
Youth aged 15 to 45 are welcome to apply. We’re looking for individuals with a sense of initiative, innovative thinking, and an interest in social issues. No specific background or prior experience is required.
2. Is there a participation fee?
The summit is completely free of charge. Lunch and a certificate of participation will be provided on the day of the event. If selected and currently living outside of Taipei or New Taipei City, participants may apply for round-trip transportation reimbursement by submitting travel proof (e.g., train or bus ticket).
Transportation Subsidy:
For youth traveling from areas outside Taipei and New Taipei City, the transportation subsidy will be calculated based on the cost of travel from your place of study or work to the event venue.
The subsidy applies to round‑trip tickets for the event date, or one day before and after the event. The cost will be calculated as follows (based on actual receipts):
-
By train or bus: General Tze‑Chiang train fare or bus fare.
-
From Taichung and further south: High‑speed rail (Standard Class).
-
From Hualien, Taitung, and outlying islands: Domestic economy‑class airfare.
The final subsidy amount will be determined by the organizers. Recipients must apply in good faith, and any fraudulent claims will be subject to legal action.
Please send the application form, transportation receipts, and a copy of your bank account details via registered mail by August 5 to facilitate the processing of your reimbursement.
3. What’s the application deadline and when will I hear back?
The application deadline is July 12, 2025. Limited spots available — applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
4. What language will the event be held in? Do I need to be fluent in English?
This event will be conducted entirely in English. Participants are encouraged to engage in English; however, interpretation equipment will be available on-site for those who need it. While basic English listening and speaking skills will enhance your experience in the keynote sessions and workshops with international speakers, they are not a required condition for participation.
5. What can I gain from joining the summit?
You’ll connect with youth innovators from around the world, engage in meaningful dialogue on real-world challenges, and gain experience, inspiration, and opportunities to take part in future youth-led action initiatives.
